It’s a red hot seller’s market in Denver right now, which means you might be considering putting your home up for sale to make a serious profit. But how do you safely show your home during a global pandemic? At Frontgate Realty we take Covid-19 safety seriously and have a few tricks up our sleeves to make the selling process safe and seamless.

When Showing: One Agent, Two Buyers

At Frontgate we only allow up to two buyers at a time with one agent and everyone wears a mask of course. We also have disinfectant wipes for agents to wipe down common touch surfaces like doorknobs, light switches, countertops and cabinets as they are touched. After the showing we do another thorough sanitation and we leave space between showings, so there are no overlaps and the house has time to air out.

Stage Your Home And Post Great Photos

With about 90% of home searches beginning online, making a good virtual first impression is extremely important. A well staged home with professional photos makes it a lot easier to entice buyers before they ask for an in person showing.

Recently, we had a home in Denver sell for $50,000 above the asking price with multiple offers. We believe this happened because we had the home professionally staged to show its true potential. See the before and after pictures here:

Go Virtual if Possible

If the sellers feel comfortable with us filming their home we are also happy to do virtual home tours via Zoom or FaceTime or another video app. Creating a video tour of the home for potential buyers to see in advance or as a substitution for an in person home tour is another option. These videos can then be shared on social media platforms. In some cases, buyers will even put in an offer after a video tour, without seeing the house in person.  While not everyone is comfortable with virtual tours, some are, so we always consult with our sellers about their options.

Zoom with Your Realtor Instead of Meeting In Real Life

Another way we can minimize contact and make your selling experience as safe as you feel comfortable with during the Covid-19 pandemic is meeting with you virtually at first instead of over coffee. We are happy to utilize software like Zoom and Goggle Hangouts to discuss anything and everything.
